Aftnareld AB is a company based in Sweden. Our main activity at Aftnareld is to create and provide software in form of interactive entertainment (games). In this policy we describe what information we collect and how we use it. This document could be subject to frequent updates, depending on new software we release or law changes. What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Data collected for our games
We may collect data on how users interact with our games (for example how much time players spend on a certain part of the game), monitor technical performance such as crashes and collect playtesting survey data and responses. We also need information such as IP-address to be able to offer online and multiplayer functionalities. The reason we want to collect this data is to be able to offer a fully functioning game-play experience and improve our games. We develop our games using a third party engine called Unity and use the analytics data platform called Unity Analytics for PC. Data collected for communication
To communicate with potential and actual customers and community members we use email, forums, chat and social media. Here we can provide you with details of our latest products, company updates, game updates and promotions. We also may communicate with you in order to solve issues you may experience in using our games. If you provide us information for a certain reason, for example contact us by email, we will use the information you provide to answer. This information is deleted at the latest two months after the reason you provided us the information has been answered or solved.
Email contact and newsletters
We communicate and send out information via email newsletters with the help of a third party email service called Mailjet. Your email address and possibly your name is only collected with your consent trough our contact forms at our company website or our games websites. You can unsubscribe any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email newsletter sent by us. We retain the information needed for email newsletters for as long as you’re subscribed for any of our newsletters.
Forums, chat and social media
The forums, chat and social media we use to provide information and communicate trough includes Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Discord.
Platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other services may collect information for optimizing advertising campaigns.
Data collected for our website
This website is built using WordPress, which may use cookies to store information to provide a better user experience. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
We use Google Analytics for aggregated, anonymized website traffic analysis. In order to track your session usage, Google drops a cookie (_ga) with a randomly-generated ClientID in your browser. This ID is anonymized and contains no identifiable information like email, phone number, name, etc. We also send Google your anonymized IP Address. We use GA to track aggregated website behavior, such as what pages you looked at. This information is important to us for improving the user experience and determining site effectiveness. If you would like to access what browsing information we have – or ask us to delete any GA data – please delete your _ga cookies, reach out to us, and/or install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, however no internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Email may not always be secure and therefore you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.
